KARHU CELEBRATES ITS HERITAGE WITH THE "KITEE PACK"

Karhu celebrates the heritage of the brand taking inspiration from the skis manufactured since 1916 in a small workshop located in downtown Helsinki.

Worn by the Finnish army to world champions like Harri Kirvesniemi, who is part of the Karhu family as the official licensee of Karhu ski, cross-country skiing has helped to shape the brand.

Last winter, the Karhu team visited Harri Kirvesniemi at the Karhu ski factory in Kitee, a small town in the east of Finland, and to pay homage to the man that is still part of the Karhu legacy and the place where the skis are still made, the Finnish brand decided to release two special Fusion 2.0 dubbed "Kitee pack".

To match the season, both shoes feature a mix of pigskin suede, water repellent nylon and lycra on the uppers, while the speckled EVA midsoles and rope laces complete the look for a perfect outdoor sport feel.

The Karhu Fusion 2.0 "Kitee pack” will be available starting from Friday, November 29th, through selected retailers bounded to the Finnish brand, such as asphaltgold, karhu.com and the Karhu concept store in Helsinki.
