NIKE x CARHARTT WIP COLLECTION
After such long wait, all the details of the upcoming Nike x Carhartt WIP collaboration are finally revealed, and 4 silhouettes from the Swoosh brand will play the lead role: Air Force 1 Low, Air Force 1 Low Utility, Vandal Supreme High and Air Max 95.
These four shoes have been redesigned and reinterpreted with the iconic style that distinguishes Carhartt, thanks to the employment of fabrics that are typically found in the collections of the American workwear brand, including cotton canvas, corduroy, and tiger camo ripstop.
The Air Force 1 Low is the most refined among the four, thanks to the mixed corduroy and canvas uppers, featuring the classic “Hamilton Brown” tones and a white outsole.
The Air Force 1 Low Utility boasts a definitely more modern and aggressive look, boosted by the use of Tiger Camo Ripstop for the uppers, combined with the gum outsole.
The cotton canvas total black colour-scheme with contrasting gum outsole, on the other hand, renders the Vandal Supreme High the most basic of the four siblings.
The most intriguing proposal is for sure the Air Max 95, thanks to uppers made with a mix of black fabrics and Tiger Camo Ripstop, but especially to the white midsole with visible Air Unit in orange, in pure Carhartt style.
If you don’t want to miss the chance to treat your feet with one or more of these four gems, mark on your calendar that the release is set on Thursday, December 6th, through selected retailers bounded to the Swoosh brand, such as 43einhalb, Hanon, Urban Industry and Holypop.
