THE DOUBLE DROP: KARHU "TRACK & FIELD" PACK
Across the decades, Karhu has appeared on podiums at the Olympics, national and at collegiate championships, and the sport of track and field has always been close to Karhu’s heart.
Franco Arese, Karhu Chairman, says: “In the 60s and 70s, when I was training and racing in Finland, I learned the tracks had a unique colour compared to other countries, they were black! However, these tracks were really good for racing.”
In this drop Karhu takes inspiration from track and field and the di erent competition surfaces around the world influences the colour assortment and material selection in this concept.
The protagonists of this special pack are the Aria and the Fusion 2.0, both released in two track-centric colour options.
The global release of the Karhu “Track & Field” pack is set on Saturday, August 4th, at selected retailers bounded to the Finnish brand, such as Kosmos, asphaltgold, Sneakers76, Hanon, The Good Will Out, Titolo and Suppa, at Karhu.com and at the Karhu Concept Store in Helsinki.

After the exclusive drop at Extra Butter at the end of December, it’s finally time for the international release of the Shadow 6000 “White Rabbit”, the last collaboration effort coming from Saucony and the New York based sneaker boutique Extra Butter.
The shoe takes inspiration from movies about “freeing your mind” like Matrix, and takes its nickname from the White Rabbit character of Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland.
The shoe features premium materials like leather, suede and nylon mesh, red and blue “Extra Butter” rubber tag, removable pieces that hide collaborators secret identity while the sneaker box boasts a psychedelic graphic.
